Related Events Please note that these events are not affliated with New England Child Life Professionals, Inc. Information is provided for informational purposes only. Dream Night is a special evening for chronically ill and disabled children to enjoy the Zoo with their families and caregivers free of charge. This is the fourth annual Dreamnight at Franklin Park Zoo and the second annual Dreamnight at Stone Zoo. Dreamnight guests have the opportunity to get a more intimate view of the Zoo than the average daytime visitors through zookeeper talks and animal encounters. The evening will also feature activities, costumed characters, food and fun. Dreamnight is not open to the general public. This event is strictly for invited children and their families.
This year, Zoo New England is pleased to be partnering with Muscular Dystrophy Association to present these events. Muscular Dystrophy Association is a voluntary health agency - a dedicated partnership between scientists and concerned citizens aimed at conquering more than 40 forms of muscular dystrophy and related diseases (including ALS, or Lou Gehrig’s Disease) that affect more than a million Americans. MDA works to defeat neuromuscular diseases through programs of worldwide research, comprehensive medical and community services, and far-reaching professional and public health education. We hope that you will extend the invitation to participate in Dreamnight at either location to your patients and their families. It is a truly wonderful event. Zoo New England would be thrilled to provide registration information for either Franklin Park Zoo or Stone Zoo for you to distribute to families.
